Commander
Chad Hapner
As a life member of Michigan Post
126 (Grand Rapids), Chad has served on his department’s
Finance Committee for total of 17 years, the last nine as chairman.
Husband to National Ladies
Auxiliary PNP Janice Hapner (1998–99), Chad has also served
as post commander, department commander, national district IV
commander, national finance officer and last year's national 1st vice commander and national 2nd vice commander 2006-2007. |

National 1st Vice Commander
Duane Miskulin
Presently, Duane serves as First Vice Commander and previously served as the National Finance Officer. He was selected as AMVETS National Department Commander-of-the-Year in 2005, District Commander-of-the-Year in 2004 and Department AMVET-of-the-Year in 1999. His other awards include the New Post Award, Convention Board Award, Membership Award and State Fund Raiser. |

National 2nd Vice Commander
Jerry Hotop
Presently, Jerry serves as Second Vice Commander. He owned and operated his own business for 40 years and recently retired. Jerry served in the Army, for 3 years and in the Navy Reserve as a Seabee for 6 years. He joined AMVETS in 1978 and served as a post commander for 9 years, department commander for 3 years, National Convention chairman in 2005, 4th National District Commander 2006-2007, and National Sons Coordinator 2007-2008. |

National Executive Director
James
B. King
James B. Kings role as national executive director includes
administering the policies of AMVETS, supervising its national headquarters
operations and providing direction, as needed, to state and local
components. The U.S. Marine Corps veteran of two tours in Vietnam
joined the organization in 1969 and is a life member of AMVETS Post
4 in Mount Vernon, Ill. Jim was elected AMVETS national commander
for 1987-88, after serving terms as national vice commander for
membership and programs, respectively. |
